The optimum, most healthful, most sustainable, and
most compassionate form of agriculture is Veganic Agriculture. I am fortunate enough to have the nation’s
foremost Veganic Agriculture Expert, Mona Seymour from San Francisco on the
Advisory Board of Raoul Wallenberg Vegan International.
Veganic Agriculture uses no animal inputs. There is no risk of disease or antibiotic
resistance from the unsafe substances animals are forced to take so that they
do not perish from the horrendous conditions they are forced to endure, that
are found in animal manure.
Crops are rotated and some fields are left empty
(fallow). The empty fields are amended (planted)
with cover crops. These are crops rich
in nitrogen and other essential nutrients. They are allowed to grow, and
develop their nitrogen and other nutrients.
Then they are plowed under. This rich
source of nitrogen provides nourishment for the next crop without the need for
fertilizer.
Pesticides are not used or needed either because by
the time a predator finds the crop it is looking for, the crop would already be
harvested.
Veganic produce is rich in vitamins, minerals and
flavor without the unhealthful fertilizers and pesticides used in conventional and
organic agriculture. It has none of the cruelty
either – and that is the best part!
Go
veganic!
